Come right in! At the wondrous Ole Pfarrhof, we do a lot of theater for young and old people from the age of three. From May to September. We are the Fingerleichten puppets, figures and things, and our principal, puppeteer Katharina Fial.
THE GROUP. Well, we finger-light dolls have already traveled quite far - and are still traveling. Over hill and dale, through the air and across rivers. Along the way and in the muck of our imaginations, we find plays and stories. We then perform them from May to September on the Ole Pfarrhof summer stage. In addition, before and after that, we also perform elsewhere - in Feldberg and Thomsdorf, in Berlin and in the rest of the world.
THE REPERTOIRE. At the Ole Pfarrhof, under the ancient lime tree, Ronja the Robber's Daughter experiences adventures in the robber's forest. The Little Prince finds his best friend here, the fox. Sometimes the fisherman catches a magic fish for his wife that fulfills all her wishes. Or Puss in Boots leads everyone around by the nose. Our changing repertoire includes classics of world theater and children's literature as well as contemporary pieces. And because the Ole Pfarrhof is located in beautiful Carwitz, there is always a piece of Fallada in the repertoire. All the plays are for people of all ages, starting from the age of three.
THE PLACE. Our puppet theater seats up to 80 people in the audience. A roof protects against sun and rain. One of the two entrances is accessible.
The Ole Pfarrhof is located in the middle of Carwitz. Just eleven steps away from the bus stop. Just a few more steps from the campsite, snack bar and cafés and the Fallada Museum. Bicycle parking directly in front of the stage entrance.
THE AUDIENCE GALLERY. Our audience gallery is also growing in front of the entrance. We show what children and adults have invented, painted and written in Fingerleicht TheaterLabors. These TheaterLabs take place once a week following a performance. The schedule and dates can be found on our homepage.
Oooh, we almost forgot: Our Fingerleichter SommerTheaterOrt is called Ole Pfarrhof because the Carwitz vicarage once stood here. That is also a wondrous story. We'll tell that one too.
