The north beach
"The Prerow North Beach is considered by many bathers to be the most beautiful in Germany. It stretches five kilometers long and 80 meters wide near the Baltic resort of Prerow on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula.
The sandy beach boasts a 50-year nudist tradition, which is still maintained in designated zones. Since the beach falls shallowly into the water, it is especially suitable for children, seniors and non-swimmers. Dogs are also allowed to swim in the cool water at special sections. While some tourists enjoy the fresh sea breeze on the approximately 400-meter-long pier, others stroll along the beach promenade." (Source: Bruckmann Verlag in cooperation with FOCUS Online)
