Since 1980, the town of Lübz has had a planetarium, which is open not only to schools in the region, but also to vacationers and anyone else who is interested.
No matter what the weather is like: Thanks to the projection technology from Carl Zeiss Jena, you can observe the day and night sky and follow the position of the sun, the moon and the planets. Around 5000 stars can be projected onto the planetarium dome, which has a diameter of eight meters.
