Riding is permitted here from April 1 to October 31 between 21:00 and 06:00. Between November 1 and March 31, there are no time restrictions on riding on the beach. The beach is bordered to the north-east by the enclosure of the nature reserve and to the south-east by the boundary with the municipality of Karlshagen.

Koserow salt huts

Climate forest Damerow

The two climate forests on Island of Usedom are located in the immediate vicinity at the narrowest point of the island. In addition to the Koserow climate forest, another area for new reforestation has been developed here in Damerow under the direction of the Neu Pudagla forestry office. This new "Climate Forest Damerow" was opened with a donation of 50 forest shares from the Achterkerke Foundation to local families as part of a large planting campaign during the Usedom Wildlife Weeks on October 24, 2009. The English oaks planted here on 2 hectares are now about 5 meters high, so that you can already walk through them.
