Permitted from November 1 to March 31 with special permission only. The municipality's beach area is bordered by Peenemünde to the northeast and Trassenheide to the southeast.
Horse riding is permitted on the beach from November to March and is prohibited during the rest of the year in accordance with Karlovy Vary's beach and bathing regulations out of consideration for the very busy bathing area and the many walkers.
