Life by a river like the Elbe has many advantages that people have used for centuries. At the same time, they had to protect themselves from the dangers of flooding and built dikes and dams. The open-air exhibition “EinFlussReich”, located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Elwkieker observation tower, provides children and adults with information on the subject of flooding in a playful way.
They can learn how people experienced the Elbe flood, how effective flood protection is, and which flood protection projects have already been implemented on the Elbe. Become a decision-maker yourself at our interactive exhibition elements and see whether your flood protection measures contribute to protecting Boizenburg from flooding.
The open air exhibition "EinFlussReich" is located in the district Boizenburg-Vier, Am Elbberg 8-9, 300 meters from the former Checkpoint Vier. You can reach the exhibition easily via the B 5 or via the Elbe cycle path (section D).
Parking spaces are available in front of the exhibition grounds, as well as sufficient bicycle stands.
