Exhibitions and Galleries, Museums, National Park and Nature Conservation Centres, family-friendly, barrier-free, marry and celebrate, sustainable

Right next to the famous Königsstuhl chalk cliffs and the UNESCO World Heritage Old Beech Forests, the KÖNIGSSTUHL National Park Center offers a special nature experience for the whole family, whatever the weather. A world full of secrets is waiting to be discovered on 2,000 square meters of exhibition space and 28,000 square meters of outdoor area - multilingual and barrier-free.

The wide-ranging offer includes an adventure exhibition, world heritage cinema, Skywalk Königsstuhl, bistro, nature experience area, special exhibition, guided tours and much more.

Experience exhibition: Discover the nature of the Jasmund National Park on 2,000 square meters - the origins in the chalk sea, life underground and the life cycles of various national park inhabitants. You will be accompanied by an audio guide system and there are three themed tours to choose from. There is an extra trip with Mimi and Krax for children. Since 2023, in addition to the audio tour in German and English, there is also a choice of Dutch, Polish, Danish and Swedish for young and old. A themed tour in German sign language, easy language and a version for blind and visually impaired guests enables an accessible trip to the adventure exhibition.

World Heritage Cinema: Gain an impression of the phenomenon of the ancient beech forests in the Jasmund National Park. A 15-minute film on three screens, narrated by Dirk Steffens in a visually stunning and exciting way.
Skywalk Königsstuhl: Enjoy the unique view of the Baltic Sea from the new accessible Skywalk on Rügen's chalk coast. It is only a few steps from the entrance to the National Park Center to the platform.
Short guided tour: Hear interesting facts about the Jasmund National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Ancient Beech Forests of Germany". Fossils you can touch and answers to your questions about the national park are provided during the approx. 30-minute short tour by an expert guide.
Special exhibition: The special exhibition in the centre's chalk room changes every year to match the theme of the year. In 2024, everything revolves around Romanticism in the Stubbenkammer to mark the 250th birthday of Caspar David Friedrich. The "Habitat. Chalk" will take centre stage from February 2025 with nature photographs.
Hikes, vacation programs and more: Keep an eye on the calendar of events - during the vacation periods and on special public holidays, you can look forward to additional hikes, programs and events for young and old.
