Not far from the monastery church is a museum full of rarities and curiosities from the everyday life of the population of the first half of the 20th century exhibits.
A lovingly furnished museum, which invites you to marvel and participate. During a tour through the museum you can admire an old school class, a kitchen, a living room, a children's room and an original cobbler's workshop. In addition, there is a variety of technical equipment and the presentation of the "history of washing clothes". In addition, there is an exhibition on the history of dentistry with an original foot drill from around 1880, a dentist's chair from around 1925 and various utensils.
Special curiosities include a working Tefifon from the 1950s, a room toilet with sand flush, a mixer with water drive and a bathtub in a cupboard. Touching and trying is allowed!
In the classroom, visitors can try writing with a stylus on a slate board and Sütterlin script. For the little visitors there are various coloring pictures and crayons. In the children's room, of course, they can also play.
We are happy to accompany our visitors through the exhibition, demonstrate and explain things. Information about guided tours here.
