The Bergring Arena was opened on May 18, 2002.

In the immediate vicinity of the Teterow Bergring is the Bergring Arena, a speedway track approved for 6 drivers and equipped with floodlights. The fact that the track meets the highest standards and fulfills optimal competition conditions also convinced the FIM. Since 2016, the Bergring Arena has been the venue for a Speedway Grand Prix. The international races for the Schildbürger and Auerhahn cups are also a must for every speedway fan.
