The mill in Dorf Mecklenburg is thatched.
The windmill, built in 1849, is an earthen mill with a brick base, covered with thatch. The wind turbine is preserved, the interior is now used as a gastronomic facility with a range of typical dishes. There are 50 seats in the restaurant, 60 in the farmhouse parlor and 40 in the bar. There is a bicycle rental in the house, sauna, whirlpool, solarium and a fitness room.

St. George's Church is one of the three large main churches in Wismar and an outstanding architectural monument of North German brick Gothic. Since 1211, the Old Harbour has largely preserved its harbour basin in its location and design. Moreover, the harbour continues to be important as a mooring for excursion steamers, for leisure captains and traditional ships such as the 'Kogge' and the 'Atalanta'.
This 1.2 hectare climate forest area, financed by the "Waldaktie MV", is located around 800 m away on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin. The first planting campaign together with customers of the Schwerin-based energy supplier WEMAG AG took place here in spring 2013.
