... This is clay slurried in water, which in our case is colored with various color bodies. In this technique, the coloring takes place in the leather-hard, unfired state.
Using brushes and small sponges, up to three layers of color are applied on top of each other. This layering of colors creates the depth effect of our decoration. The pieces are then bisque-fired at 935°C, coated with a colorless glaze and fired once more at 1180°C.
