More than 100 years ago, the Martinshafen, which was intended for loading chalk, was built on the Großer Jasmunder Bodden near Neuhof with the harbor basin and breakwater that still exist today.
In the midst of the charming landscape of the Great Jasmund Bodden on the Jasmund peninsula with flat reed-covered shores on one side and a towering cliff on the other lies the small harbor of Sagard. Currently there are 130 berths for anglers and sailors, but most of them are reserved for fixed berths. The Martinshafen has about 10 guest berths on 2 - 2.50 m water depth. There are no supply facilities here. The village of Sagard is 3 kilometers away. Today it is home to about 130 sailing and fishing enthusiasts. The harbor is located on the eastern shore of the Great Jasmund Bodden and can only be approached during the day.
