The Marstall Putbus is the venue of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Festspielfrühling Rügen.
The Marstall was built from 1821 to 1824 in place of an old riding stable and served as a summer theater until the inauguration of the Putbus Theater. Today, the Marstall again serves as a public venue and houses what is probably the largest event hall on the Island of Rügen; it can accommodate up to 650 people at events.
