The harbor in Wiek was reopened in June 2003 after extensive renovation and is now home to the marina.
Since the opening of Marina Wiek/ Rügen in 2003, countless water sports enthusiasts have already called at the idyllic harbor. The ideal berth on the Wiek Bodden offers unbeatable service in the harbor and an attractive environment with many recreational opportunities. The old chalk loading bridge can certainly be named as a landmark of the marina. This historic structure was originally intended for loading the chalk found at Cape Arkona. However, after the First World War this project was abandoned and so it happened that chalk was never loaded in the port of Wiek. Services in the port:
- Electricity and water at the berth
- Sanitary building with showers and toilets
- Washing machine and dryer
- newspapers and rolls in the harbor kiosk
- Barbecue area and bathing place
- shipyard with 10 t and 2,5 t crane
- boat motor service.
From the harbor there is a ferry connection to Hiddensee. The marina has 60 berths. The harbor kiosk is open from April to October from 7:00 to 20:00.
