Nestled in the rolling hills of Mecklenburg Switzerland, secluded from the noise of the world, the small village of Alt-Krassow lies between lakes, fields and forests.

It consists of 6 houses. One of them is the manor house. Besides the few people live in the village 2 horses, 3 dogs, cats and chickens. It is surrounded by a primeval forest and meadows. Here fox and cranes say good night to each other and deer look in at the windows.

For swimming and bathing you can choose between the very clear Kuhlensee, which you can reach in 5 to 10 min by foot, or the larger, also very clear Schlieffenberger See, about 3 km away. Anglers will find their paradise at the nearby Krassow Lake. Here in the star park, the Milky Way and the signs of the zodiac can be seen very well under clear night skies due to optimal darkness and a clear view of the sky.

If it gets too quiet in Alt-Krassow, take a trip to the cozy little towns of Teterow and Güstrow with their sights. Music lovers enjoy the large concert selection of the Mecklenburg Festival.
