A simple manor house, very tastefully renovated in a dreamlike location in the Mecklenburg Lake District with vacation apartments and bed & breakfast rooms, a small café and restaurant. Ideal also for small groups and workations.
The 550sqm are plain, solid and squarely packed; the manor house has stood in its place since 1874. This pragmatic simplicity has its reason. Until 1918, the estate and manor house belonged to the Dobbertin monastery and were leased out. After troubled years, Bettina Buschow and Patrick Oldendorf saved it from decay at the last second.
In addition to the manor house, the adjacent Old Kitchen House and the Wheelwright's House have since been renovated and additional apartments and double rooms have been added.
For families and groups who want to spend time not only together but also with each other, the spacious apartments offer the right ambience: well-equipped kitchens that make you want to cook together, large dining tables for meals and a fireplace. In addition to the apartments, Lexow Manor offers eight double rooms with breakfast as a B&B. Common to the apartments and double rooms is the stylish, individual furnishing and high-quality equipment, in which old substance and modern comfort are combined. Thus, old floorboards and original shutters meet W-LAN and rain showers.
Room for more: Concentrated work is possible in an informal atmosphere, for example during teambuildings, offsites or concept meetings. Modern conference technology is available at the Gutshaus. And what are your plans for the Lexow Manor?
