The stately manor house with its high mansard roof was built in 1733 in typical North German red brick.
The artistically crafted, wrought-iron lattice gate, which originally came from the Vollrathsruhe manor house and was awarded a special prize at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, is worth a visit.
In the village, it is worth visiting the Agricultural History Museum, which exhibits the history of large-scale agriculture east of the Elbe from the mid-19th century to the present day.
