In hidden Liepen, an entire art house is waiting to be temporarily inhabited.
Landlady Birgit Pöschel provides the leafy manor house with 20 sleeping accommodations and extensive three-hectare park.
Temporarily, works by painters mainly from the Leipzig School can be seen in the high rooms - Clemens Gröszer, Jost Heyder, Peter Makolies, Carlo Broschewitz, to name just a few. The Villa Suburbana also hosts art summer festivals, concerts and readings.
