Gustow manor house was built in the Tudor style in the 18th century and is located in a beautiful area. If you stand on the coast in Gustow and let your eyes wander over the Strelasund to the mainland, to the Hanseatic City of Stralsund, you will feel transported to another time. This expanse of fields, this sky, this scent, a mixture of hay and salt - all this awakens the romantic in everyone.

Originally, the manor house, built in Tudor style, belonged to a former manor of the Osten family. In the 18th century it was sold to the von Hochwächter family and changed hands many times thereafter. The nearby brick church from the 13th century is a popular destination and the nature around Gustow is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Particularly impressive is the view of the silhouette of Stralsund, which was made famous by Caspar David Friedrich.
