Vacation in the historic manor house.
Near Teterow, in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland, lies this listed and restored approx. 300 year old manor house surrounded by a medieval castle rampart. Here is a lovingly furnished approx. 120 sqm vacation apartment for 4 people (with two separate bedrooms) at your disposal.
The more than 300 years old baroque manor house was built on the foundation walls of the medieval castle, which was destroyed in the 30-year war, in half-timbered construction. There are 5 apartments in the manor house, which were thoroughly modernized in 1995/96. During the modernization, great importance was attached to the fact that old construction and building elements such as the half-timbered construction, floor boards and the still existing baroque windows were preserved, but on the other hand they were equipped with a contemporary central heating system. The apartment on the first floor is bright and friendly due to the numerous windows and the southern exposure and has a total of 4 rooms plus kitchen, bathroom, hallway and a small storage room. In addition to the historically interesting manor house (stands on the foundation walls of a medieval "German" castle), the surrounding rampart castle of Slavic origin is of outstanding cultural-historical importance, especially since the complex is still relatively well preserved.
