The Grevesmühlen malt factory was built in 1873 on the rock cellar built by brewer Heintzmann. Today, the administration of the district of Nordwestmecklenburg has its headquarters in the listed building.

The "Uwe Johnson" House of Literature is located in a former granary built around 1890 near Klützer Marktplatz. Over two floors, the exhibition provides a multifaceted insight into the life and work of Uwe Johnson and thus presents the writer who has always remained closely associated with Mecklenburg.
Bothmer Castle is one of the largest baroque palaces in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It was built in 1726-1732 by the architect Johann Friedrich Künnecke. The builder was Imperial Count Hans Caspar von Bothmer.
