The Lindengarten is a listed park in the heart of the Hanseatic City of Wismar.
In 1815, the Lindengarten was created in the area of the former Swedish fortification. In addition to an old stock of trees, the park also contains a bronze sculpture by Horst Brühmann entitled Metamorphosis. It is also listed as an individual monument. The old trees and the many benches invite you to linger. The paths along the mill stream are particularly beautifully laid out.

St. George's Church is one of the three large main churches in Wismar and an outstanding architectural monument of North German brick Gothic. This 1.2 hectare climate forest area, financed by the "Waldaktie MV", is located around 800 m away on the northern shore of Lake Schwerin. The first planting campaign together with customers of the Schwerin-based energy supplier WEMAG AG took place here in spring 2013.

In 1763, the Hamburg merchant Philipp Heinrich Stenglin had the two-story brick Plüschow Castle built between Wismar and Lübeck. Today the castle is used for many cultural events and invites especially art lovers.
