Near Lonvitz, a district of the municipality Putbus, lies the megalithic grave "Fliederbusch". It is also known as "Fleederbarg".
This worth seeing approx. 30 m long megalithic grave with a trapezoidal mound bed is located on a ridge directly at the road junction between Putbus and Vilmnitz at the turnoff to Zirkow. On one of the capstones, which lies close to the road embankment in a position that is no longer original, several small bowls can be seen. Also on the narrow side of the mound bed three small bowls can be discovered on the vertical side of the last stone. Based on characteristic pottery finds it can be assumed that Slavic post-burials were found in the megalithic grave.
