Krakow am See shows itself from its greenest side. The wooded areas of the three peninsulas Lehmwerder, Ehmkwerder and Jörnberg - a tongue of land extending far out onto Krakow Lake - form the Krakow spa forest.
The approx. 18-hectare spa forest is located northeast of the city, on the peninsulas of Jörnberg, Emkwerder and Lehmwerder - a headland that extends far out onto Krakow's inland lake. Natural paths, jetties, rest areas, observation platforms and many other fantastic views of the water make a walk an impressive experience. On the viewing plateau at the Fritz Reuter memorial stone with accessible access, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. The highlight of the spa forest is the installation of a Kneipp water treading facility in the lake for active recreation and therapy.
