The Kunsthaus is an "open house". It is open to anyone who wants to try their hand at art and culture and is looking for a space, like-minded people or support.

One of the principles of the Kunsthaus is to be an open house of cultural encounter, exchange and experimental platform, with a special focus on promoting young talent. The platform Kunsthaus wants to help to overcome the threshold fear to become self-creative. It offers everyone the opportunity to enter into a creative process, which can consist of discovering and developing the artistic potential within oneself, becoming artistically active, developing projects and using the Kunsthaus platform to place these projects in public space.

Kunsthaus Neustrelitz e.V., located at Schloßstraße 2 in Neustrelitz, was founded in 2007 and has since acted as a sponsor of projects worthy of support in the fields of media / film / theater, visual and applied arts.

The kick-off for the creation of our climate forests in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern took place on November 28, 2007 near Neustrelitz, where the first 100 sessile oaks were planted on an area of approx. 2,000 m². Financing was provided by the rail travel specialist Ameropa and the MeetMV conference pool of the MV tourism association through the purchase of forest shares designed for this purpose.
