The narrow-gauge railroad "Rasender Roland" stops at the historic small railroad station.
The small railroad station Binz-Ost (Landesbahn) is a station of the "Rasender Roland", a steam-driven narrow-gauge railroad, which runs since the end of the 19th century on a 24.1 km long route from Putbus via Binz to Göhren (in the season continuing via Putbus to Lauterbach).
The small railway station was restored in 2003/2004 according to historical specifications. Today there is a tourist information including bicycle rental (seasonal opening hours), the ticket office for the "Rasender Roland", the museum Baltic resort Binz, the restaurant "Rasender Roland" with railroad ambience as well as public toilets / handicapped accessible (fee required).
