"Keissu-En" - a Japanese garden in the Feldberg Lake District, is built strictly according to the historical architecture and garden philosophy of Japan, and offers an alternative way to experience a garden.
Entering a Japanese garden is the experience of returning to an environment where people can find peace, harmony and inner serenity. Four elements characterize the Japanese garden: stones, moss, water and plants/trees. Everything has a symbolic meaning. Small fountains, streams and stone lanterns shape the picture. The garden exists in perfect harmony and exudes a meditative calm. You as a visitor can lose yourself completely in contemplation, find yourself and think in harmony with nature.
Garden tours are offered from May to October every Wednesday by appointment.
