The Neptun-Schwimmhalle Rostock is the municipal swimming pool of the Hanseatic city of Rostock with a publicly accessible 25-meter hall and an indoor teaching pool for non-swimmers.
The Neptun indoor swimming pool offers a large number of sporting opportunities that are used by the public and many clubs. It is home to club swimming, competitive, recreational, senior and disabled sports. Public swimming, swimming courses for pre-school and school children from the age of five and adults of all ages, water jumping, lifeguarding, water polo, diving, triathlon and underwater rugby are just some of the possible activities in the water. In addition to these water sports, there is also a wide range of sporting activities such as senior and toddler gymnastics, aerobics, gymnastics, breakdancing, competitive and ballroom dancing and martial arts in the gyms in the indoor swimming pool.
The Marble Hall and the meeting rooms are rented out for parties and events. Catering facilities and service providers complete the range of offers.
In addition to many national and international competitions, such as the German Water Diving and Swimming Championships, sporting highlights at the indoor swimming pool include the International Rostock Diving Day, the Diving Show and the Neptune Swimming Festival every year. In 2015, the European Water Diving Championships will be held in the "Neptun" indoor swimming complex.
