Our non-smoking vacation apartments are located in a more than 200 years old former "Fährhaus" and a newly built "Hexenhaus". With us you enjoy your vacation in a very quiet and idyllic location on the edge of the National Park Vorpommersche Boddenandschaft, where in spring and autumn the cranes and wild geese migrate by the thousands! No "witchcraft", but real handicraft are the healthy products from sea buckthorn and wild fruits of the island, which you can buy at the "Sanddornhexe" and in regional farm stores of the island.

Welcome to a small hidden place on the west coast of the Island of Rügen!

Dreschvitz climate forest, Island of Rügen

A tree planting campaign in autumn 2023 marked the start of the development of a new forest in Dreschvitz. This fifth climate forest on the island of Rügen will absorb around 755 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere over the next hundred years.

Climate forest Haidhof

The Haidhof climate forest covers an area of just under one hectare and is made up of red oaks, sweet chestnuts and hazel trees in combination with various woodland edge trees. At several planting events in the fall since 2011, guests and residents have been able to talk to foresters and forest campaigners about the climate forests on the Island of Rügen while enjoying children's games, campfires and wild sausages.

Stralsund City Hall

The building, erected in the style of North German brick Gothic, whose construction dates back to the years 1300-1310, is one of the most important secular buildings on the Baltic coast. Above the large windows of the market front of the town hall, the coats of arms of the neighboring Hanseatic cities point to the importance of the Hanseatic League for Stralsund. The display gable is unique in the Baltic region.

The Kronlastadiebastion is located between the street Am Fischmarkt and the Querkanal. The half-timbered house from 1865 was first used as a shed for cannon carriages and later as a granary. There are restaurants and other stores in the building.
