The Haus des Gastes of the town of Röbel/Müritz is your central contact point for everything concerning your vacation.
Located in the historic old town, here you not only have the opportunity to organize your stay and activities in the certified tourist information, but you can start your carefree recreation time right on the spot.
Exhibitions and events
In the Haus des Gastes you will find a well-equipped event room, which, with changing exhibitions of regionally influenced art and artists, is an attractive destination for locals and visitors to the town by the small sea all year round.
In addition to concerts, cabaret, theater, puppet shows or creative courses, the guest welcome events take place here from mid-June to mid-September, offering you a first entertaining and informative insight into your vacation options.
Civic garden
Behind the house, hardly to be expected from the street, the Bürgergarten gives its guests a first impression of the beauty of the region's nature. The well-kept park invites you to linger under old trees and enjoy the peace and quiet. The short walk down to the jetty is worthwhile - the view over the water of the Binnenmüritz into the open nature is the ideal prelude to a relaxing vacation. In addition to a small viewing platform, you will also find a small open-air stage in the Bürgergarten, which is also used for cultural events when the weather is good, but is also a popular setting for marriage ceremonies.
Town History Museum "Heimatstuben
On the upper floor of the "Haus des Gastes" is the museum of local history "Heimatstuben", which is well worth seeing. With great attention to detail, interesting and curious facts about the history of Röbel are presented here. Visitors can learn about traditional crafts, urban development, legal disputes or witch trials and much, much more free of charge. The offer of the permanent exhibition is supplemented again and again by small special exhibitions to specific topics around Röbel and the region. Following a visit to the museum, we recommend exploring the city with the help of our "Historical City Tour through the Prince's Residence and Agricultural Town".
