Excursion restaurant with lake terrace and pension rooms under the thatched roof on the Burgwallinsel in Lake Teterow
Already in May 1928 the WENDENKRUG (at that time still under the name "Schweizer Haus") was opened as an excursion restaurant. In June 1995, the building burned down completely during renovation work. After just over a year of construction, the new opening took place in October 1996. Guests can expect a cozy restaurant with a lake terrace and whoever wishes can also stay in one of the six rooms. Due to the idyllic location, the house is not only popular with day trippers and vacation guests, but also a sought-after location for wedding and family celebrations. You can reach the WENDENKRUG with the Burgwall ferry or the launch "Regulus".
Opening hours: May until end of September
- Monday day of rest
Note: Hotel guests are allowed to cross by car to the island, which is otherwise closed to car traffic.
