Hotel Schloss Gamehl is located at the gates of Wismar in the midst of the charming landscape of Mecklenburg. Enjoy peace and relaxation with modern comfort.

19 rooms and suites equipped with all comforts, characterized by individual room design, are available to guests. Only fresh, mainly regional products are processed in our kitchen: Game from the region, meat from selected organic farms and herbs from our own garden result in an extraordinary taste experience. Ballroom for 60 people and "Blauer Salon" for up to 20 people: Wellness area with Finnish sauna and bio sauna, relaxation room, fitness equipment and a well-stocked library in the "Red Salon". In the "Blue Salon" there is the possibility to get married in a civil ceremony. Gamehl Castle offers not only a unique flair, but also picturesque surroundings. From here you have attractive excursion possibilities to the nearby Baltic Coast, to the nature or to the manifold cultural highlights of Mecklenburg. An approx. 2.8 hectare landscaped garden with pond, small island and old trees surrounds the property.

    Surfspot Pepelow

    The spot at the Salzhaff offers shallow water deluxe! You can park in front of or on the campsite. Day tickets are available at the reception. The Salzhaff is very shallow and the standing area is therefore extremely large. Especially windsurfers have to walk further out at low tide so that the fin doesn't involuntarily become an anchor. Pepelow shows its best side with southwest to north.

    Water art on the market place Wismar

    The waterworks were built from 1580 to 1602 according to the plans of the Dutch master builder Philipp Brandin from Utrecht in the style of the Dutch Renaissance and served until 1897 for the drinking water supply of the city. The banners in Latin and German tell about the drinking water supply in earlier times.
