Hotel Elefant was projected and built in 1890, and the historical Elefant Hall has existed since 1870. The hotel is located in the center of Schwerin, the city of lakes and forests. You can reach the most beautiful sights, such as the Schwerin Castle including the castle garden or the Schwerin Old Town within a few minutes walk. The hotel has a restaurant, which is furnished in French style and has 50 seats. Experience and enjoy regional specialties or end the evening in our hotel bar with a glass of pleasant tasting red wine or a fruity cocktail.

The monumental administration building is located to the northwest of the old town, directly on the Pfaffenteich lake. The building was erected when the Grand Ducal administration moved from Ludwigslust to Schwerin between 1842 and 1845.
