Horse riding, Hotels and guesthouses

The Hotel Friesenhof offers fantastic rides to the Baltic Sea beach in Trassenheide as well as special health holidays on Usedom. Beneficial fitness sessions, healthy food, relaxation and practical knowledge for a healthier lifestyle are combined - all in the marvellous setting of the island of Usedom.

Riding on the beach
The dream of many riders comes true here: riding by the sea. It is an indescribable feeling when you cross the old coastal forest in Trassenheide on horseback and finally arrive at the dunes. The view falls through the horse's eager ears onto the vast Baltic Sea. Sometimes calm and glassy like a lake, sometimes roaring and wild - but always beautiful. The horses know the beach and love trotting across the white sand and splashing in the water. The Hotel Friesenhof with its adjoining riding stable offers riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders, rides to the beach for experienced riders and guest boxes for a Baltic Sea holiday with your own horse. Around 20 horses, including the special breed of Friesians, warmbloods and riding ponies, live here. Hotel guests can also enjoy the Friesenhof's restaurant, pool, sauna, fitness facilities and wellness treatments.

Accommodation with health offers and fitness holidays
The stimulating climate of the Baltic Sea and the spicy forest air in Trassenheide are already pure well-being. The Hotel Friesenhof offers even more health benefits. In close cooperation with local, certified fitness trainers, nutritionists and forest mindfulness trainers, the hotel regularly offers carefully put together health holidays that are only available in this form on Usedom at the Friesenhof. The multi-day stays include a revitalising fitness breakfast and healthy, balanced evening meals, effective fitness training and group exercise, informative lectures with practical tips for a healthier lifestyle and special mindfulness exercises during communal forest bathing. Guests can also enjoy the pool with a view of the paddocks, the Finnish sauna, the fitness room and book soothing wellness massages and treatments.
In the hotel's own riding stable, the Friesenhof offers its guests riding lessons and rides to the beach.
