Our farm is located on the edge of the Klützer Winkel near Grevesmühlen, just 20 minutes from the Baltic Sea, surrounded by old fruit trees and a lovingly renovated main house. You can relax on the terrace in front of the farm store with a view of rapeseed fields, pastures and the lake, while the children play in the playground or pet the animals. This climatic forest of almost 7 hectares is located around 5 km northwest of Schwerin, for which around 2,000 young sessile oaks were planted in the fall of 2014. The area is now fully planted and the young trees are growing healthily and dynamically.

Rehna Monastery

Rehna is home to one of the most beautiful and largest preserved monastery complexes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The monastery offers space for art, theater and music and is a focal point for pilgrimage and long-distance hiking. Particularly worth seeing are the large monastery garden, the late Romanesque monastery church, the Kneipp basin on the monastery grounds, and the pretty town of Rehna with its half-timbered buildings.

The Renaissance castle from 1573 is especially known for the detailed terracotta decorations on the facade. Currently, the 16th century building is undergoing extensive renovation. The castle can be visited on guided tours during events such as the Open Monument Day.

This climate forest between Wismar and Grevesmühlen was opened in spring 2012 with a planting campaign. The event was organized by the Schwerin-based energy supplier WEMAG together with the state forestry department and the MV tourism association. Over a thousand English oaks and typical forest edge trees such as wild fruit trees and shrubs marked the start of the development of this site, which has now unmistakably found its rightful place in the series of climate forests in MV.

Climate Forest Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee

The former inner-German border strip, the "Green Belt", is virtually predestined to be further enhanced by the creation of new forest areas. So it was only logical to add another climate forest to the existing ones in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from summer 2010. The first planting campaign took place in April 2011. The total area consists of three parcels of land, two of which were reforested as part of the planting campaign with the Schwerin energy supplier WEMAG.

Gläserne Molkerei is a pure organic dairy with 2 locations in Germany. One production site is located in Dechow, Mecklenburg, and the second plant is located in Münchehofe (Brandenburg). We obtain our organic milk from the surrounding regions and process it into drinking milk, butter, cheese or yogurt.
