Pure nature! Teterow is the geographical center of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The youth hostel is located directly at the lake Teterow, to the beach with sunbathing lawn, slide and beach volleyball court it is only about 200m by foot. In the middle of the lake is the historic Burgwallinsel. It has been awarded as a cultural asset worthy of protection by UNESCO in 2010. The former Slavic settlement site can be reached via a ferry or with the launch "Regulus". Once crossed, you enter a nature reserve of rare beauty.
The youth hostel, which was once the residential and business villa of the sugar factory owner, is a cozy place.
