Hostel "Alter Heuboden", © Sabine Petters
Hostels, barrier-free, group travel

Lovingly designed hostel on the European long-distance hiking trail E9 and the Via Baltica, not far from the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path.

We warmly welcome hikers, pilgrims, cyclists and those simply seeking peace and quiet. Day guests, whether on foot on one of the hiking trails, by bike or motorized. In the low season it is possible to rent the entire hostel as a vacation apartment.

Our hostel is a place of encounter and invites you to pause and recharge your batteries. From here you can continue on your way strengthened.

The group dormitory with five cozy alcoves for a total of eight people is located under the roof in the former hayloft. With a separate entrance, the accessible first floor houses the communal kitchen and another sleeping area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

The hostel is part of a historic farm ensemble with a large garden, old fruit trees, lots of flowers and a colorful henhouse.

During the refurbishment, we placed great emphasis on sustainability and natural building materials.

Here you can still experience perfect silence and also darkness at night with a starry sky.

The small "Open Chapel" Jager is very close by. It is a point of attraction and a place of inspiration, not only for pilgrims.

In addition, Sabine Petters, an experienced pilgrimage coach, regularly offers pilgrimage days and pilgrimage coaching.
