Horse riding on the beach is allowed all year round. This area is located in a protected landscape area in the Rostock Heath.
Get on your horse and into the saddle. The Rostock Heath with its meadows and forests offers a magnificent landscape, which can be experienced on numerous bridle paths also directly to the Baltic Sea. Horseback riding on the white, fine sandy beach is allowed at Stolper Ort on a length of three groyne sections all year round and is one of the highlights of any horseback riding trip. You are welcome to contact local riding stables or use the forest parking lots as a starting point if you are traveling with a horse trailer. Please always stay on the designated bridle paths in the forest (required by law) and be considerate of all other forest visitors.
