As a Demeter farm, we see our farm as an organism that is largely characterized by cycles. Laying hens and brother cocks live with us in seven mobile pens on the field. These are integrated into the crop rotation and enable a unique symbiosis of agriculture and animal husbandry. We grow the feed for our animals ourselves. 100% organic feed in Demeter quality. According to the principle: what is grown on hufe8, stays on hufe8. Respect for our animals is the most important thing for us. The fulfillment of their nature-appropriate needs is our top priority. We work on this every day. Please feel free to stop by our farm store or arrange a tour of the farm.

Our products are marketed holistically under our name. So you can recognize if the chicken, egg or brother cock comes from hufe8. It is close to our heart that not only the eggs make it into your kitchen pot, but also the soup chicken and the brother cock. Because without chicken and rooster there would be no egg. Our beef finds its way to you via our farm store. In our hufe8 potato bag you will only find potatoes grown on our fields.

Hohen Luckow Manor

The Hohen Luckow manor, commissioned by Christoph von Bassewitz in 1707, is located in the gentle moraine landscape of Mecklenburg only 25 km from the Baltic Sea. The magnificent stucco on the ceilings of the salons has made the manor famous. The manor with its farm buildings, landscaped park and estates form an ensemble unique in the region.
