Our vacation home is located in the middle of Speck with a view of the open countryside. Speck itself, is centrally located in the middle of the Müritz National Park. In spring, the now rare bittern can be heard here, after which we have named our vacation home.
Awaiting you is a cozy vacation home that grew out of an old stable building. In 2000 we have lovingly remodeled it with natural materials. It is bright and friendly and ideal for families with children. A play closet with books and wooden train is waiting for the little ones. For the grown-ups there is a reading corner. A small library provides you with books about the National Park and its history. If the days are colder, you will be happy to have the fireplace stove, which provides the core heat in the house. If you want it even warmer, you can use the vacation home's own sauna. The energy for this comes directly from a photovoltaic system on the cottage roof during the day. Surplus energy is stored in a battery for the night. If this is not enough, then geothermal energy and heat pump take over.
A travel cot and high chair are available, along with many other practical things.
Outside, a large terrace and its own small garden await. There, a giant trampoline invites you to romp around. A herb bed next to the cottage may be "plundered".
As a National Park partner, it is important for us to inform our guests about the Müritz National Park. We are happy to help you put together tours. You can rent bicycles or e-bikes directly from us. If you come with an e-car, you can charge it via our wallbox. We look forward to seeing you.
