Welcome to the Tollensetal - Our vacation apartment in the Vorpommersche river landscape between Tollense, Trebel and Peene, offers the nature lover quiet and relaxing vacations. Weltzin is a small village between Burow and Altentreptow about 1.5 km from the L35 and 10 km from the A20 freeway.
You can expect a high quality furnished vacation home for max.6 persons on 100m² living space. It offers 2 bedrooms with double bed and 1 single bed each, 1large living room with sofa bed, 1 fully equipped fitted kitchen with stove, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher and the bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub. A spacious terrace invites you to barbecue and linger. Enjoy the view over the lawn to the numerous fruit trees. On our farm a small apiary is resident since 60 years. If you are interested, the beekeeper will gladly give you an insight into his work and tell you everything you need to know about the bee colonies. As a welcome gift, a glass of honey is available for guests in the vacation apartment.
Cycling and paddling is the best way to explore the surrounding area. The paddle provider is located on the grounds of Klempenow Castle or in Altentreptow. From there you can start your paddling tour on the Tollense. The nearest horse riding center is in Teetzleben or Zirzow. Swimming is possible at the natural beaches of the Tollense, in the Bodden Greifswald Eldena and in the Tollensesee in Neubrandenburg. The beaches of the Baltic Sea island Usedom can be reached within an hour. Shopping facilities, restaurants and the train station are located in Altentreptow.
Weltzin is also ideally located for trips to Neubrandenburg (25 min.), Stralsund ( 60 min. ) and the university town of Greifswald (40 min.). Due to the central location, many things are within reach, such as the 1000 year old oak tree and the treetop path in Ivenack and the world heritage city of Stralsund with the Ozeaneum. In Neubrandenburg you should not miss a visit to the Marienkirche with its concert hall. A special architectural and acoustic experience awaits you there. After only 30 min. driving time from Neubrandenburg you reach the residence town Neustrelitz. Neustrelitz is a cultural center of the lake district with numerous events. In summer, the castle garden is the venue for the magnificent operetta and musical performances of the castle garden festival. For boat trips on the Peene River, nearby Demmin would be the place to go. Furthermore Neubrandenburg offers round trips on the Tollensesee and Waren on the Müritz.
