One of the oldest pillar gables of the Brick Gothic period. The gabled house was built at the end of the 13th century and was rebuilt in 1320/40.
After several conversions, the building, which had been vacant since 1979, was extensively renovated in 2002/03. Of the interior fittings, the two longitudinal galleries in the hallway, which are unique in Stralsund, and a 17th-century baking oven in the fireplace have been preserved. Today, the building is used for residential and office purposes.
