Trail riding station Kummerow

Horse riding, Holiday flats, Equestrian farms

The riding station is located in the middle of the pretty estate village directly on Lake Kummerow. Riders and horses are very welcome here. In addition to its box, your horse will find plenty of exercise in the adjoining meadow.

From here there are numerous opportunities for half-day and day rides in the surrounding area. For further riding there are beautiful routes north to the Peeneland farm and on towards the Baltic Coast or south to the Arabian horse breeder in Klockow or the riding farm in Gielow and then on towards the Mecklenburg Lake District.

We offer you a vacation apartment for a maximum of 4 people. Visiting horses can be accommodated in one or two paddocks. The horses stand right next to the house. So you can keep eye contact with your horse.

Ivenack Castle

The older, middle part of the castle dates back to the 16th century - the monastery building. A first extension took place in 1709 and after passing to the Imperial Counts v. Plessen around 1750. The semicircular stables, the orangery, the tea house and the church also date from this period. Around 1810, the castle was again extended by two wings. Since 2016, it has been renovated in accordance with the preservation order. The 1000-year-old Ivenack oaks in the former animal park are Germany's first national natural monument.
