Traditional excursion restaurant on the outskirts of Teterow
On a clearing between old trees in the middle of the Teterow hiking area "Hohes Holz" stands the forest restaurant of the same name. A tavern was already operated here around 1900. Even today, the popular excursion restaurant invites hikers and guests to linger. The menu includes home cooking as well as various fish and meat dishes.
The Hohe Holz has a magnificent beech stand and the seeds of the trees have the quality predicate "special origin". The stone cist grave in the Hohe Holz - a ground monument - dates back to the years 3,000 to 1,800 BC.
