The history of the village Altwarp at the Szczecin Lagoon.
Interesting for the guests is the history of Altwarp in the years 1935 to 1945. Much can be read about it in the research of Mr. Materna. In one corner detailed boat models are exhibited, which originate from an Altwarp boat builder.
"In the meantime, people also come on their own to bring us old exhibits that they found while cleaning up," Renate Pfeiffer tells us. This is a positive development compared to the laborious beginnings, when they still had to go from door to door. In the meantime, the Heimatstube is bursting at the seams. More and more exhibits are being added. In the meantime, another room is being used, which was made available by the municipality. For the future it is to be wished that this small museum becomes a visitor magnet for the Altwarper and their guests.
