The Möwennest restaurant is located in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the vacation resort of Rechlin, directly on the banks of the Little Müritz.
"The Müritz circular trail leads past the house to the district of Boek, the southern gateway to the Müritz National Park. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous vacation accommodations, leisure facilities and the marina of the Müritz-Segel-Verein Rechlin with permanent and guest berths.
With 70 seats and a maritime atmosphere, the Möwennest harbor restaurant offers the perfect setting for a relaxed lunch with friends, a cozy dinner for two or a long-planned family celebration. In the warmer months, the additional 80 terrace seats are popular with our guests. In the evening, they can enjoy the sunset on the Little Müritz after a good meal. Both the restaurant and the terrace are accessible. There is a large parking lot right next to the house.
Our menu offers our guests a rich selection of dishes. The cuisine combines the traditions of home-style cooking with the advantages of light fare. It is characterized in particular by the use of regional and seasonal ingredients. But lovers of burgers, pasta & co will not miss out either. We have a separate menu for allergy sufferers. In the afternoon, the many cyclists and hikers on the Müritz circular route like to stop off for ice cream, coffee and home-baked cake in the Möwennest. In the summer months, we also like to spoil our guests at the weekly BBQ with the best from the grill or heat up the in-house smoker. We offer a delivery service all year round for celebrations outside the house.
