On the most beautiful cycling and hiking routes along the Warnow River with its breakthrough valleys, adjacent meadows and forests, you will reach the village of Reez, which was first mentioned in a Rostock chamber register in 1283.
The manor house is a two-story brick building built in 1825/30 over probably baroque cellars, commissioned by Friedrich von Flotow. Around 1885, changes were made to the facade of the manor house. The estate ensemble with the administrator's house, barn and other farm buildings was built around 1835/40. The manor house has been preserved in large parts. It is privately owned by the Grieger family and is to be restored in the near future. Connected to the estate is the well-known riding facility 'Pferdeland Reez'.
