The Semlow megalithic burial site is a large dolmen with a trapezoidal mound bed. Such complexes were built in the middle Neolithic period (2500 - 2000 B.C.). Their use is assumed to be from 500 to 700 years.
This complex is a heavily destroyed large dolmen in a trapezoidal mound bed. There are no capstones left from the chamber. The stone block lying in the chamber can no longer be identified.
Coming from Marlow, one drives through the village of Semlow. At the turnoff to the manor house, continue straight on for 380 meters until, directly behind the last houses on the right, a path branches off to the left to an allotment garden. Follow this path for 150 meters until you reach the allotment garden site on the right. There is also an information board on the spot.
