The Gallin estate is a versatile agricultural business in the west of Mecklenburg. We manage a contiguous arable and grassland area of 1000 hectares in the scenic UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee. An organic butcher's store with farm store and farmhouse parlor belongs to the estate. We have been certified organic for over 20 years.
The Gallin estate is one of the largest organic farms in Germany. We farm a total area of over 100 hectares south of the Schaalsee lake in southwest Mecklenburg. We have been committed to organic farming since 1991. We are a member of the Bioland association and the BUND. We are also bearers of the regional brand "Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee". Bioland is environmental protection and animal welfare in one. Our customers get healthy food that they can enjoy with a clear conscience.
Our farm store is easy to reach - you will find a large parking lot directly in front of the door. In addition to the extensive range of meat and sausages, you can get seasonal vegetables, salads and tomatoes from our organic farm there. Around the Schaalsee organic cheese is produced - sheep cheese from the dairy Klein Salitz, cow cheese from the Kranichhof and the Gläserne Meierei and goat cheese from Ute Rohrbeck. Fresh organic Mecklenburg poultry and organic bread from the Demeter farm bakery Wittmaack arrive every Wednesday. The organic eggs are laid by around 300 hens at organic farmer Hajo Schäfer in Krumbeck. We also offer a wide selection of organic wines from Stefan Kuntz.
Our farm store is open from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00.
