The goldsmith Madeleine Asmus works with recycled and sustainably certified silver or gold, and with regional natural materials that we can find ourselves, e.g. a piece of glass from the beach or a stone from the forest. Goldsmith workshops are also offered here.
As a goldsmith, Madeleine Asmus works exclusively with recycled silver and recycled or sustainably certified gold using natural materials from the region. Her jewelry with natural materials falls under the term "foundling jewelry", which she coined, i.e. these natural materials can be found by anyone, e.g. a stone from the forest, a piece of glass from the beach, a fossil or even wood. But of course there is also a selection in the workshop. Because individuality is very important to her, every piece of jewelry made here in the workshop is unique. She also cuts self-collected stones or glass for customers on request. The topic of "jewelry redesign" is also very close to her heart. Customers simply bring in their older mementos or heirlooms. Madeleine Asmus then melts them down in her workshop, casts them in a silver or gold mold and uses them to create a new piece of jewelry. If you would like to be creative and crafty yourself and, for example, build a pendant with a piece of beach glass or stone you have found yourself or make your own wedding rings, you can do so in one of the goldsmith workshops.
